Cosmopolitan College Of Commerce and Technology Convocation Ceremony

In line with the National Youth Policy in ensuring that the youths will achieve a meaningful employment, the Cosmopolitan College of Commerce has been and continue to play its major role as the economy and community transformation catalyst, that capable of producing youth who add value to the needs of the industry and more importantly, as the much -needed human capital of the country. The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports said the matter yesterday MORNING at the 14th Cosmopolitan College of Commerce and Technology Convocation Ceremony. The function was held at the Indera Samudera of The Empire Brunei.

 

Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin said that as human beings who always make an impact in various fields, the youths have been and continue to be the source of pride for the community and the country.

 

416 graduates in the field of Creative Media, IT and Commerce received their certificates. As of today, the Cosmopolitan College of Commerce and Technology has more than 3 thousand 400 graduates and 87 percent from the total has obtained jobs.

The campaign is held to support the green protocol guidelines that outlined measures that need to be implemented in order to reduce the carbon footprint. The event took place yesterday afternoon at the Berakas Forest Reserve Recreational Park, Jalan Lebuhraya Muara- Tutong. The campaign was participated by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy. The Green Protocol outlines the measures that need to be implemented to reduce the carbon footprint in public service premises with the efficient use of technology as well as the adoption of cost-saving measures in seven key elements namely, Energy usage; Water usage; Use of Paper; Use of Plastics; Waste Disposal Management, Official Event Management; and Tree Planting. Aside from that it is also aimed to raise awareness among the public servants in the government sectors.
