B.E.S.T. Programme Culmination Ceremony Emphasizes Discipline and Good Morals in Education

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei – The Help, Empathy, Love, Responsibility or BEST Programme, B.E.S.T., concluded with a ceremony at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar 'Ali Saifuddien on the morning of 26th November. The program focuses on instilling discipline, respect, and positive moral values in students.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was graced by Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Doctor Dayang Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Brunei Darussalam National Commission for UNESCO. The culmination ceremony featured an aerobic session and prize presentations to schools participating in the program. Coinciding with the International Day against violence and bullying at school, including cyberbullying, UNESCO, the ceremony highlighted the importance of creating a safe and nurturing educational environment. Organized by the Ministry of Education, the B.E.S.T. Programme is part of ongoing efforts to enhance school environments in Brunei Darussalam.
