Post Marriage Course

With the theme, “Iman Dikarihi, Keluarga Harmoni”, the Family Counselling Service Division, Syariah Affairs Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs is conducting a three-day Post Marriage Course starting yesterday. The course is held at the Supreme Court and Syariah Courts in the capital.

 

25 couples who have been married for three years and above joined the course. Throughout the course, seven working papers will be presented by facilitators in their respective fields. The course is jointly organised by several government agencies to share and deliver information on hukum syara’ or Islamic Law, law and matters pertaining to families. According to Awang Muhd Hanif Bin Haji Sha’ari, Co-Secretary of the Post Marriage Course, among the objectives are to strengthen understanding on the importance of Muslim family institutions, raise awareness on the rights and responsibilities towards the family, channel knowledge about the right way or to defend rights in the household and enhance understanding and love among between husband and wife in accordance with the requirements of Islam.
