To developing local Information and Communications Technology, ICT skills and bridging communication between countries and cultures, Huawei Technologies yesterday morning launched its virtual ‘Seeds for the Future 2022’ programme. The opening ceremony took place at the Pengiran Anak Puteri Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah Institute of Health Sciences, Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD.
It was jointly-officiated by Doctor Haji Azman bin Ahmad, Permanent Secretary for Higher Education at the Ministry of Education; Mr Wang Haitao, Counsellor and Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Brunei Darussalam AND Kevin Zhang Jianwei, Chief Executive Officer of Huawei Technologies. Participating in the programme are students from UBD; Universiti Teknologi Brunei; Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University; Politeknik Brunei and Institute of Brunei Technical Education. The 8-day programme will run until 24th October 2022. The event continued with a sharing session from 3 Huawei ‘Seeds for the Future’ alumni, special talk and presentation of certificates of appreciation.
