Isra’ Mi’raj Celebration

Prayer is seen as an act of worship that is able to build up self-potential, motivation and performance as it can prevent oneself from vile and deviant acts. The matter was among those shared in the talk during the Isra' Mi'raj Celebration organised by the Prime Minister's Office and the Departments under it for 1444 Hijrah/ 2023. The ceremony took place yesterday afternoon at the Prime Minister's Office.

Present were Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence; and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy. Also present were Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Matsetejo bin Sokiaw, Deputy Minister, Department of Energy in the Prime Minister's Office and Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Sufian bin Haji Sabtu, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office. The talk titled "Bersabar, Berikhtiar, Bertawakkal dan Berdoa Menghadapi Ujian: Sembahyang Meraih Redha Allah" was delivered by Doctor Awang Mohd Hilmy Baihaqy bin Haji Awang Yussof, Lecturer at Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University. The talk among other matters emphasised on the theme's main focus which was Sembahyang Meraih Redha Allah or Prayer Gains Allah's Blessings.

A similar ceremony was also held by the Ministry of education through the Department of Schools Inspectorate and Department of Higher Education. Present, Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Dr. Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh, Minister of Education. The Special talk titled 'Bersabar, Berikhtiar, Bertawakkal dan Berdoa Menghadapi Ujian: Sembahyang Meraih Redha Allah' was delivered by Dayang Siti Juhaida binti Haji Bujang, Religious Officer at the Islamic Da'wah Centre. The ceremony took place at the Ministry of Education.
