A total of 30 referees completed the Football League Referee Course which was held for 5 days since last Monday.

Certificates were presented by Pengiran Mohd Amirrizal bin Pengiran Hj Mahmud, the Acting Secretary General of the National Football Association Brunei Darussalam. In his speech, Pengiran Mohd Amirrizzal said it is not easy to be a football referee as the modern football trend is becoming more technical and fast-paced, and referees are required to make wise in making the right decision. During the course, participants received coaching from a FIFA officer, they also took part in practical courses at the field so that they can become referees who are consistent, honest and maintain a quality standard in order to develop and improve football in the country.
