On the 4th of October 2021, 8,015 individuals have received the COVID-19 vaccine injection. According to the Minister of Health, this means that, under the National Vaccination Programme, 310,416 individuals have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine which is 68.4% of the total population. Meanwhile, 201,941 individuals have completed the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine which is 44.5% of the total population. The Ministry of Health also shared a clearer picture of the location of the positive cases detected in the country, resulting from the research conducted.
The Minister of Health said that between the 26th of September until 2nd of October 2021, there are three mukims that have more than 80 positive cases. These mukims are Mukim Berakas ‘A’ with 112 cases, Mukim Pekan Tutong, 130 cases and Mukim Kuala Belait with 118 cases.
