Eleven scholarship students under the joint Chemical and Process Engineering Scholarship Programme of Hengyi Industries has completed their 18 months of chemical process engineering studies at Zhejiang University. The graduation ceremony took place at The Empire Hotel and Country Club, yesterday morning.

Present was Doctor Haji Azman bin Ahmad, Permanent Secretary for Higher Education at the Ministry of Education. Also present was Her Excellency Yu Hong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam. Following their graduation from Zheijiang University, the students will then further accomplish their final semester at Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD and 6 months of internship at Hengyi Industries. Once they have completed the programme, they will then be offered a position at Hengyi Industries.

With the success of the joint Chemical and Process Engineering Scholarship Programme between Zhejiang Hengyi Group Company Limited, Zhejiang University and UBD, Hengyi Industries has announced that the scholarship programme has been extended for a further five years.
