2 suspects believed to be involved in a theft case in the Tutong District were brought before the Bandar Seri Begawan Magistrate Court yesterday. One of the suspects is remanded at the Lamunin Police Station, while the other is freed with police surety.
According to Probationary Inspector Awangku Muhd Waie @ Awangku Fathurrahman Bin Pengiran Abdullah Sani, Assistant Officer in Command Lamunin Police Station, on the 19th of May 2019, Lamunin Police station received a call about a theft case at house Number 6 in Kampung Supon. Immediate action and investigation carried out by police personnel following public tip-offs resulted in the arrest of the two suspects. They were believed to be involved in the case and the police also found a generator engine believed to be stolen from the house. The first suspect is Jhosney Anak Masing, aged 38, while the second is 40 year old Muhd Zulhilmi bin Hj Muhd Yunos.
Following the mention of the case, suspect Jhosney Anak Masing is remanded at the Lamunin Police Station until further mention. Meanwhile Muhd Zulhilmi bin Haji Muhd Yunos is freed with police surety.
