To prepare graduates to become a visionary generation with quality, highly skilled and independent towards realising Wawasan Brunei 2035 are among the objectives of the Brunei Darussalam Post-Graduates Civic Village Programme. The second programme organised by the Information Department began yesterday morning at the Headquarters of the Department.

Dayang Hajah Noorashidah binti Haji Aliomar, Acting Director of Information in her speech stated that the programme participants are the future leader who will continue the race and nation's survival. Therefore, they need to be given the understanding and information on the nation's philosophy, aspirations and vision, which can be balanced with their academic knowledge in line with the current development such as challenging job opportunities.

50 post-graduates students from local and foreign institutes of higher learning are attending the Civic Village. Various activities are lined up during the programme including briefing, dialogues, visits to government departments and private companies as well as to small and medium enterprises. The participants will also take part in teamwork activities, sports and recreation events.
