The Minister of Health stated appreciation on the sacrifices of volunteers in controlling the spread of COVID-19 in terms of energy, time and property.
Currently, there are 260 government officers and staff, 92 health volunteers, 24 medical officers and nurses from the private sector and those who have retired currently serving as volunteers in various facilities and performing various specific tasks. The number does not include the number of volunteers managed by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
Members of the public who wish to help the Government in controlling the spread of COVID-19 can register as volunteers by calling 745 5109. Anyone registering as a volunteer will be placed on duty at a safe area with less risk in line with their skills.
