In six decades, the Minister of Religious Affairs explained that the citizens of Brunei Darussalam have gained positive exposure from a systematic religious education.
Systematic education means teaching by qualified religious teachers according to ahli sunnah waljamaah and Mazhab Syafi'e through formal education with a fixed curriculum and not through learning from unauthorised individuals. Deviant understanding and practices can be avoided by practising a formal religious education.
