KUALA LURAH — The Law Enforcement Division of the Department of Immigration and National Registration recently spearheaded ‘Operasi Bersepadu Kabat’, a comprehensive joint operation with multiple law enforcement agencies, at the Kuala Lurah Temporary Immigration Control Post. The operation led to the issuance of 14 compound fines by the Royal Brunei Police Force, four cases recorded by the Royal Customs and Excise Department, and 16 more by the Religious Enforcement Division.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the operation also targeted several locations across the country, including a waste collection point in Mukim Kilanas where two foreigners were detained for further investigation due to lack of valid documentation and suspicion of employment irregularities. Another foreigner was detained in Mukim Peramu for overstaying after the expiration of his immigration pass.
