‘Negaraku Kebanggaanku’ Programme

Students in the country are urged to be equipped with knowledge, skills and expertise without putting aside the Malay Islamic Monarchy values that must be possessed by every student.

The matter was stressed by Doctor Muhammad Hadi bin Muhammad Melayong, Head of Brunei History Centre during the Closing Ceremony of the Negaraku Kebanggaanku Programme in conjunction with Brunei Darussalam's 39th National Day Celebration. The ceremony took place at the Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA Campus, yesterday afternoon. The closing ceremony was highlighted with a National Talk titled 'Memperkasa Kesiapsiagaan Belia Menuju Wawasan Negara 2035' or Empowering Youth Preparedness Towards Wawasan Negara 2035. The forum among others discussed the role of the country's youth in being pious and possessing patriotism and nationalism.

Earlier yesterday morning, the programme was officiated by Dr Hajah Lilly Suzana binti Haji Shamsu, Assistant Rector for Student and Alumni Affairs, UNISSA. The programme organised by the Faculty of Islamic Development Management, FPPI, UNISSA with the cooperation of the Brunei History Centre aimed to bring out the talents and potential of UNISSA undergraduates in analysing and planning strategies to assist management and cultivate the spirit of celebrating the country's national day.
