National Vaccination Programme, ART Test for Private Business Premise, 10 Directive Violations Issued Compound Fines

 

At the media conference, the Minister of Health shared on the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19’s accomplishments.

 

The overall rate of the population who have received at least one dose of the vaccine is 94 point 3 per cent, 91.6 per cent for those who have received two doses, and 5.6 per cent for those who have received three doses.

 

The Ministry of Health reminded employees in private business premises, including offices or manufacturing premises who are allowed to work but have not completed the COVID-19 vaccination, to undergo ART testing at any ART Certification Centre that is recognised by the Ministry of Health, and not to go to Swab Centres to take the RT-PCR tests. In the Endemic Phase, RT-PCR testing will only be required for confirmatory purposes if the ART test has been found to be positive, or if the person is experiencing signs of infection. Managers of private business premises are also given a stern reminder not to take advantage to instruct their employees to undergo RT-PCR testing at Swab Centres either at health centres or Drive-Thru Swab Centres. ART Test Certificates issued from ART Certification Centres are still used as official documents for verification of health status before entering business premises. Anyone who is required to obtain an ART Test Certificate but instead goes to a Swab Centre to obtain an RT-PCR test will not be entertained.

 

For the movement restrictions that was carried out recently from 10 at night to 4 in the morning, 10 violations of the directive nationwide were issued with compound fines, where 7 of them were violations of the directive to stay at home.
