With theme 'Scout On The Move', the 'Karnival Sembilan Puloh' in conjunction with the 90th Anniversary of Brunei Darussalam Scouting Movement aims to celebrate the achievements of the Scout Association movement in the country over 90 years. The carnival's launching ceremony took place on 29th January morning, at the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association Headquarters in Beribi.
The launching of the Karnival Sembilan Puluh logo was officiated by Doctor Shamsiah Zuraini Kanchanawati binti Haji Tajuddin, Permanent Secretary for Core Education at the Ministry of Education. The function coincided with the presentation of the Karnival Sembilan Puluh posters to Co-Curriculum Education Department, Ministry of Education; Department of Islamic Studies, Ministry of Religious Affairs; Youth and Sports Department, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports; Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College KUPU SB; Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA.
