At the media conference, the Minister of Home Affairs said cooperation from penghulu mukim and village heads is needed in monitoring local residents so they will continue to comply with directives to curb the spread of COVID-19.
In this regard, the Mukim and Village Consultative Councils, Village Neighbourhood Committee or the Village Security Bureau can be utilised to monitor each mukim and village to meet the objectives of the recovery operation.
