The Ministry of Education through the School Leadership Unit, Department of Educators Management held the 3rd School Leaders Convention for the Year 2021/2022 virtually for 3 days. The theme for the Convention is ‘Quality Leaders, Quality Education’ and focuses on creativity and Innovation as sub-themes.
Joining the convention was Doctor Shamsiah Zuraini Kanchanawati binti Haji Tajuddin, Permanent Secretary for Core Education at the Ministry of Education. The convention shared on Blended Learning Models and digital citizenship in education which touched on digital citizenship in education and issues related to cyber risks and threats in schools. With the Blended Learning Models method, school leaders are expected to be more aware of its significant importance during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in Brunei Darussalam as well as to coordinate Digital Literacy with the Ministry of Education’s Digital Transformation Plan and the development of Digital Citizenship Guidelines for Schools in supporting the vision and mission of the Ministry of Education.
