The Minister of Education also shared the summary of the survey and monitoring results during the beginning of the school session in the first phase of educational institutions reopening in the Early Endemic Phase.

 

During the first week, from 3rd to 8th of January 2022, 14,284 Year 10 to Year 13 students attended face-to-face learning and underwent the Antigen Rapid Test or ART, in which two false positive cases were detected and PCR test results proved to be negative. In the second week, from the 10th of January to yesterday, 12th of January 2022, 15 thousand and 30 students have underwent the ART. As of 1 o’clock yesterday afternoon, 3 false positive cases were detected and PCR test results proved to be negative. Yang Berhormat added the monitoring carried out by the Ministry of Education shows the smooth running of the safety SOPs and ART process at secondary schools, colleges and sixth form centres.
