In conjunction with World Alzheimer’s Month, observed every September globally, the Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Bridge, was illuminated with purple lights, 21st September night.
The theme for this year’s World Alzheimer’s Month is ‘Know Dementia, Know Alzheimer.’ It aims to enhance the public’s knowledge, specifically on the warning signs of dementia and the importance of early diagnosis so that the family or carers are well-prepared for it.
