A company was issued a compound fine by the Enforcement Unit, Tutong District Office for violating the Miscellaneous Offences Act 2021 – dumping rubbish in public areas.
SRIBOB ENTERPRISE was issued a $500 fine and is required to settle the fine within seven days. If in default, the company can be brought to court and if convicted, can be fined not less than $2,000, and not exceeding $10,000.
For the second or subsequent offences, they can face a fine of not less than $10,000 and not exceeding $30,000 and imprisonment of not more than 12 months or both.
