After approving the budget allocation for the Ministry of Development, the council heard the introduction on the proposed budget allocation of over 83 million dollars for the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports among others outlined the four focus strategies to complement the efforts in continuing the ministry's Strategic Plan for the Financial Year 2023/2024 as well as the 'Pengupayaan; Pemerkasaan dan Penglibatan', or Enablement, Empowerment and Involvement, 3P efforts.
Yang Berhormat said that the First Strategy is in the field of Community whereby the country should continue to develop progressive communities towards a society that is excellent, united, resilient and attentive. The Second Strategy is in Youth which we continue to focus on producing youths of hope who are visionary as pioneers of national development. Third Strategy is in Sports, by continuing to strengthen an inclusive and excellent sports ecosystem focusing on strengthening sports for the society. The Fourth Strategy is in Culture, by continuing to strengthen self-identity and national identity as the core of national development based on the Malay Islamic Monarchy.
