May/June 2022 Examination Results

The Brunei-Cambridge GCE 'A', 'AS', 'O' Level and the International General Certificate of Secondary Education, IGCSE May/June 2022 Examination results are out.

Out of the 110 candidates who sat for the BC-GCE 'A' Level exam, 80 per cent obtained at least 1 'A' Level, and 44.55 per cent obtained at least 2 'A' Levels. There is an increase in the number of candidates who obtained at least 3 'A' Levels, which is 10.12 per cent for the national Level and 30.95 per cent for the school Level.

Meanwhile in the BC-GCE 'AS' Level exam, out of 1,462 candidates, 95.49 per cent obtained at least 1 'AS' Level. Candidates who obtained at least 2 'AS' Levels at the national Level is 84.34 per cent, and the school candidate achievement is 84.4 per cent. There is an also increase in the number of candidates who obtained at least 3 'AS' Levels, which is 73.53 per cent for the national Level, and 73.54 per cent for the school Level.

Whereas in the BC GCE. 'O' Level and IGCSE, there are one thousand and 87, with 852 of them are school candidates. At the school Level, 21.48 per cent have obtained at least 4 'O' Levels, 5.52 per cent obtained at least 5 'O' Level credits, and 0.35 per cent have obtained at least 8 'O' Levels credits. Students who have sat for the examinations may obtain their result slips at their respective schools. Whilst private candidates may collect their result slips at the Department of Examination Department, Ministry of Education during office hours.

Candidates who wish to sit for the BC GCE 'AS','A','O' Level and IGCSE Examinations for October/November 2022 session may register as 'Late Entry' candidates. Registration forms and information for private candidates can be obtained at the Department of Examinations, and the closing date is on Thursday, 8 September 2022.
