The Survey Department, Ministry of Development, late yesterday afternoon held a Total Lunar Eclipse Observation activity at the open area of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.
Among those present was Engineer Awang Haji Amer Hishamuddin bin Pehin Orang Kaya Amar Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Zakaria, Permanent Secretary for Infrastructure, Housing and Professional at the Ministry of Development. The lunar eclipse phenomenon started at about 6.16 in the afternoon until 7.41 in the evening. The Survey Department provided several equipment such as telescopes, theodolites and binoculars to assist the public witnessed the lunar eclipse more clearly and up close.
