58 selected people from the underprivileged group in Tutong District received donations through the 23rd Jalinan Taqwa Programme. It was organised by the Tutong Senior Citizens Activity Centre in collaboration with the Tutong Branch of the Department of Community Development.
The donations were proceeds from the payment of fasting fidyah in helping the community to pay the fasting fidyah according to Islamic law. The programme among others acts as a facilitator for fidyah payers and recipients of poor and destitute asnaf in helping to alleviate their burden in the upcoming month of Ramadhan.
