In welcoming the National Budget theme of Financial Year 2023-2024, the Second Minister Of Foreign Affairs stressed that the Ministry will continue efforts to further improve relations and cooperation with other nations. This includes the commitment towards ensuring the interests of the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam continue to be respected.
The Minister said through the Whole of Government Approach, Ministries and relevant agencies will continue to cooperate closely with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Representative Offices abroad in honouring the country's regional and international commitments as well as guarding and developing national interests. Yang Berhormat added the efforts will improve Brunei Darussalam's resilience to achieve sustainable economic development and to maintain peace and stability for future generations.
