A foreign man was arrested for bringing in prohibited items during the COVID-19 TaskForce Patrol in Kampung Junjongan, Mukim Pengkalan Batu, Brunei Muara District.
In the incident, cooperation between the Company ‘C’ Police Reserve Unit, the Royal Brunei Police Force and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, found several plastic packages containing 4 hundred 52 bottles of alcoholic drinks of various brands. The suspect was then brought to the Berakas Sports Village Quarantine Centre to undergo a 2-week quarantine and the case together with the seized items were handed over to the Royal Customs and Excise Department, for further investigation.
