His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam arrived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia yesterday afternoon.
Present at the Subang Air Base to welcome the arrival of His Majesty were Yang Berhormat Dato' Seri Mohamed Azmin bin Ali, Minister of Economic Affairs of Malaysia as the Minister-in-Attendance; and Yang Berhormat Dato' Saifuddin bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia. Also present to greet His Majesty were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd. Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs; and His Excellency Dato Paduka Haji Alaihuddin bin Pehin Orang Kaya Digadong Seri Lela Dato Seri Utama Haji Mohd. Taha, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Malaysia.
His Majesty then walked past a Static Guard of Honour mounted by members of the 1st Battalion of the Royal Ranger Regiment, the Malaysian Army before boarding a motorcade to a renowned hotel in Kuala Lumpur where His Majesty would be residing throughout the duration of the visit. During the visit, His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam will meet with Yang Amat Berhormat Tun Dato Laila Utama Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad, the Prime Minister of Malaysia to discuss matters of mutual interest to both countries.
