More Than 90 Weekly Roundtrips Between London and Rome Fiumicino and Milan Linate

Andrew Bunn is the New UK Country Manager

ROME, June 29, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — ITA Airways will participate in the Business Travel Show Europe on the 29th and 30th of June. The event will take place in the ExCel exhibition centre in London, United Kingdom, and will be the occasion for the Italian flagship carrier to affirm its position in the British market by exposing together with the biggest travel companies in Europe.

During the show, ITA Airways will be present in the Airline Pavilion with a branded area and activities. For the occasion Pierfrancesco Carino, Vice President International Sales ITA Airways, will introduce to business partners and local media the new UK country manager Andrew Bunn.

One of the main themes of ITA Airways’ attendance will be the company’s commitment to sustainability. In fact, ITA Airways’ goal is to become one of the greenest European airlines by 2025 with 75% of the fleet featuring new generation aircraft. It has already started with the new Airbus A350. These aircrafts are 70% lighter thanks to a new range of materials, and the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions are reduced by 25%.

The Business Travel Show Europe was founded more than 28 years ago and has always represented an important occasion to give visibility to the European continent’s most important travel companies and agencies. The organisation anticipates bringing together up to 14,000 corporate travel, travel meetings and travel technology professionals to the event, in addition to more than 3,000 pre-scheduled hosted buyers appointments with exhibitors.

The air connection between the United Kingdom and Italy has always been a priority to ITA Airways. Therefore, in the last months, the Company has established more than 90 weekly roundtrips between London and its two hubs: Rome Fiumicino and Milan Linate. Two are the daily flights from Rome and Milan Linate to London Heathrow, offering a total of 28 weekly round-trip flights from Rome FCO and Milan LIN, respectively, and 36 weekly round-trip flights from Milan LIN to London City airport.

The multiple offers of the Rome Fiumicino and Milan Linate hubs will allow ITA Airways to be the reference carrier from the UK to Italy and via Rome or Linate to Europe and the Mediterranean for the UK customers, the Italian community, and the main communities of the Mediterranean countries.

From the airport of London Heathrow, connectivity is provided to major Italian destinations: Alghero, Brindisi, Bologna, Bari, Cagliari, Catania, Genoa, Milan-Linate, Naples, Palermo, Lamezia Terme, Trieste, Venice, Pescara and Olbia. Starting in July, the destination of Florence will be added.

From the airport of London City, the domestic destinations that can be reached in Italy are Alghero, Brindisi Bari, Cagliari, Catania, Naples, Palermo, Reggio Calabria, Lamezia Terme, Pescara and Olbia.

In the 2022 summer season, ITA Airways launched 62 new destinations, of which 22 are domestic, 34 are international and 6 are intercontinental, including New York from Rome Fiumicino/Milano Malpensa, and Miami, Boston, Los Angeles, Sao Paolo, and Buenos Aires from Rome Fiumicino. Thanks to codeshare agreements with the major international carriers, ITA Airways is continuing to grow its network via partnerships with other global carriers – giving a privileged access route to the markets of greatest interest for the Company.

Codeshare agreements enable ITA Airways to reach the entire domestic network of other international carriers with direct flights from Rome Fiumicino and Milan Linate to their hubs. In all, 27 codeshare agreements have been signed so far, for a total of over 360 destinations served on which ITA Airways will use its own codes.

All ITA Airways flights can be purchased on the ita-airways.com website, from the ITA Airways Call Center, or from travel agencies and airport ticket offices.

MOKE France x GOMECANO

Alexandre Nivesse (GOMECANO, co-founder), Willy Gruyelle (MOKE France, CEO), Mathias Boutsen (GOMECANO, co-founder)

TORONTO, June 29, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — EV Technology Group Ltd. (the “Company” or “EV Technology Group”) (NEO: EVTG, DE: B96A) announces today that its wholly owned subsidiary MOKE France SAS (“MOKE France”) has partnered with GOMECANO, a company offering on-demand mobile mechanics to perform automotive repairs.

MOKE France’s partnership with GOMECANO offers Electric MOKE owners the opportunity to have access to on-demand mechanics for vehicle repairs in just a few simple steps, from the comfort of their home or office. The nationally recognized on-demand vehicle servicing company offers high-end customer service and has many highly qualified mechanics, making GOMECANO the perfect partner for keeping the Electric MOKE vehicles on the road, for general maintenance and any required repair.

The Electric MOKE is known for its iconic design and versatility when travelling across different terrains, making it the perfect vehicle for warmer climates such as the French Riviera. MOKE France selected GOMECANO as its go-to after-sales service provider, due to their expertise in servicing electric vehicle engines, customer satisfaction levels, and modern service offering that improves upon the traditional model of vehicle repairs.

As the mechanic industry adapts to electric vehicles (“EVs”), and notably the lower EV engine failure rates compared to Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles, it is still necessary to regularly service any vehicle on the road and have a quick and conveniently available solution should any repair be required.

It is very important that these vehicles receive the care and attention required to keep them running smoothly, to give them a long and risk-free life.”

“Many of our customers are enjoying the use of their Electric MOKE while on their vacation, and they expect a technology-enabled mechanic service that doesn’t become a bother when having to organise any repairs,” said Willy Gruyelle, CEO of MOKE France. “With GOMECANO, we’ve selected a team of after-sales experts with deep industry knowledge, electric car certifications and a national footprint. Their speedy services are offered to owners of our new Electric MOKE, which definitely adds a layer of comfort and security to those purchasing our vehicles,” added Gruyelle.

“We are delighted at the prospect of working on exceptional and iconic cars like MOKE. Besides the fun factor, they are very well-made and robust cars that require expert attention. We are pleased that MOKE has chosen our team of qualified mobile mechanics to take care of their little treasures wherever the adventure takes them,” said Alexandre Nivesse, CEO of GOMECANO.

Schneider Electric recognized as the 2022 Microsoft Energy & Sustainability Partner of the Year

  • Schneider Electric received top honors out of over 3,900 submissions from over 100 countries across various categories
  • The award affirms Schneider Electric’s efforts in providing outstanding solutions and services to help customers move towards net-zero world

RueilMalmaison, France, 29 June 2022Schneider Electric, the leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, today announced it has won the Energy & Sustainability 2022 Microsoft Partner of the Year Award. Schneider was honored among a global field of top Microsoft partners for its innovative EcoStruxure™ software solutions provided to customers that were powered by Microsoft technology, including Azure Cloud and Dynamics 365.

The Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards recognize Microsoft partners that have developed and delivered outstanding Microsoft-based applications, services and devices during the past year. Out of over 3,900 submissions from more than 100 countries across various categories, Schneider Electric was recognized for providing outstanding solutions and services in energy and sustainability.

In 2021, Schneider’s EcoStruxure solutions helped customers reduce their carbon emissions by 84 million tonnes which amount to 347 million tonnes saved or avoided since 2018. These solutions are powered by the most advanced evolution of Microsoft Azure, helping customers achieve their energy and sustainability objectives through the power of electric and digital solutions.

Olivier Blum, Executive Vice-President Energy Management at Schneider Electric, said “Receiving the 2022 Microsoft Energy & Sustainability Partner of the Year Award is a great recognition of the collaborative impact we are making together, to tackle climate change. We are at a critical juncture. Unless immediate action is taken to reduce emissions, we will shortly pass the point of no return. Companies are central to avoiding this; however, alone the impact will not be enough. That is why collaborations such as the one between Schneider and Microsoft are needed to supercharge innovation efforts and create the technology which can turn the tide.”

Customers Schneider Electric has empowered, together with Microsoft, by delivering outstanding solutions and services include:

  • Green Data Center: When Microsoft sought an end-to-end solution to design, build and operate their data centers more efficiently, Schneider leveraged MTWO, RIB’s flagship cloud construction platform to integrate all inputs into a federated model. This allowed Microsoft to create a digital twin that delivered project speed and causality within the construction phase, driving more efficiencies with less rework and reduced waste.

Leading ESG by example in its ecosystem, Schneider Electric leveraged digital and electric technology in its own buildings:

  • IntenCity: Opened in 2021, Schneider’s flagship ‘Building of the Future’ is ten times more energy efficient than an average property, making it one of the world’s most efficient buildings. Spanning 26,000m2 and housing 1,500 employees, Schneider’s EcoStruxure solutions with Azure deliver building intelligence by collecting 60,000 data points every two minutes. This allows IntenCity to use predictive data for smart building management and energy flexibility, for maximum reliability and resiliency.

Schneider Electric and Microsoft have been working together for more than 30 years. The longevity and success continue to be fueled by a shared vision for energy efficiency and sustainability. The ability to accelerate progress comes from the unique expertise that both Microsoft and Schneider can bring, but it is the collaboration that will take sustainability efforts the extra mile.

“I am honored to announce Schneider Electric as the 2022 Microsoft Energy & Sustainability Partner,” said Nick Parker, Corporate Vice President of Global Partner Solutions at Microsoft. “Schneider Electric were outstanding among the exceptional pool of nominees. We were extraordinarily impressed by the innovative use of Microsoft Cloud technologies as part of its EcoStruxure™ software solutions.”

Climate Impact X Selects Nasdaq Technology to Power New Global Carbon Exchange

  • Cloud-based SaaS technology from Nasdaq to underpin CIX’s third platform – a spot exchange for quality carbon credits
  • Partnership brings cutting-edge trading functionalities to the voluntary carbon market for the first time to serve the growing needs of financial institutions and institutional investors
  • Slated for launch in early 2023, the exchange will enable two-way spot trading via standardised contracts, increasing access to transparent pricing signals and real-time market data

NEW YORK and SINGAPORE, June 28, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Nasdaq (Nasdaq: NDAQ) and Climate Impact X (CIX), a global marketplace and exchange for quality carbon credits, today announced a strategic technology partnership that will help unlock price transparency and liquidity in the voluntary carbon market. The agreement will see CIX leverage Nasdaq’s robust matching technology to power its spot trading platform, which will launch in early 2023 for financial institutions and institutional investors worldwide.

Carbon credits have a range of attributes that can influence their price – such as the type of project or its location – since buyers value these characteristics differently. This inconsistency creates challenges in matching an individual buyer with a corresponding supplier, and can often be a time-consuming and inefficient process.i

Through Nasdaq’s Marketplace Services Platform, CIX will enable resilient and dynamically scalable trading in a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment. Furthermore, CIX’s spot exchange will match buyers and sellers based on unique requirements. This helps ensure that buyers are procuring quality credits that meet their regulatory obligations among other needs, while removing bottlenecks to supplier financing, further enabling the growth and development of the global carbon markets.

Designed according to rigorous regulatory, reliability and security standards proven in the financial industry, Nasdaq’s technology will enable CIX to bring exchange-grade trading functionalities to the voluntary carbon market. This will cater to the increasingly complex needs of buyers and sellers of standardised contracts.

Established as a joint venture between DBS Bank, Singapore Exchange (SGX Group), Standard Chartered and Temasek, CIX brings to life a vision to drive environmental impact at scale by building resilient platforms, collaborating with innovative partners, and fostering ecosystems that help companies take practical climate action. The upcoming launch of its spot exchange rounds out the suite of platforms CIX is developing to flexibly serve the market as well as create strong demand and pricing signals.

“One of CIX’s goals is to create strong pricing signals for the liquid market. Enabling a trade matching process that is as seamless as possible will help to simplify the buyer’s journey and improve price transparency in the voluntary carbon market,” said Mikkel Larsen, Chief Executive Officer of CIX. “Nasdaq brings unparalleled expertise in matching technology. We are pleased to join forces on our journey to build a global carbon exchange that is underpinned by quality and transparency.”

“As a technology partner to trusted market infrastructure operators and new markets around the world, Nasdaq is uniquely positioned to collaborate with a marketplace innovator like CIX to bring their bold climate vision to life through our SaaS technology platform,” said Roland Chai, Executive Vice President and Head of Market Platforms, Nasdaq. “We look forward to partner with CIX to develop and evolve the global carbon industry.”

The technology agreement between CIX and Nasdaq is the most recent step in Nasdaq’s efforts in the intersection of carbon transformation and technology space. Earlier in 2022, Nasdaq launched the world’s first carbon removal indexes. Meanwhile, CIX and Nasdaq partner Puro.earth recently announced a strategic partnership to increase access to quality nature- and technology-based carbon removal credits.

Nasdaq’s end-to-end market technology powers more than 2,300 companies in 50 countries, spanning the world’s financial industry, including capital markets infrastructure operators, market participants, banks, and regulators.

About Climate Impact X

Jointly established by DBS Bank, Singapore Exchange (SGX Group), Standard Chartered and Temasek, Climate Impact X (CIX) is a global marketplace and exchange for quality carbon credits based in Singapore. CIX maintains a high-quality threshold for carbon credits offered on its platforms and is committed to a high-integrity approach to scaling the voluntary carbon market. CIX is developing several platforms and products to flexibly serve different needs of carbon credit buyers and suppliers. The CIX Project Marketplace (launched February 2022) offers quality carbon credits that can meet corporate sustainability objectives. CIX’s Auction platform is a specialised digital venue for discovering prices of unique credit types, newly issued credits and customised portfolios of projects through the efficient aggregation of market supply and demand. The exchange will enable two-way spot trading of quality credits through standardised contracts, hosting liquid contracts and providing the market with clearer price transparency and risk management solutions.

Tai Ji Men’s Bell of World Peace and Love Rung by IRF Summit 2022 Co-Chairs

Dr. Katrina Lantos Swett and Amb. Sam Brownback pray for world peace as well as justice and religious freedom for everyone

Leaders of Conscience Working Together for Love, Peace, and Justice

From left, Dr. Katrina Lantos Swett, president of the Lantos Foundation for Human Rights and Justice; Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, zhang-men-ren (grandmaster) of Tai Ji Men and president of the Federation of World Peace and Love (FOWPAL); and former U.S. Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom Sam Brownback, right, hold hands to show solidarity for the promotion of love and peace in the world after Dr. Swett’s and Amb. Brownback’s ringing the Bell of World Peace and Love in Washington, D.C. on June 28, 2022. (Kevin Wolf/AP Images for Federation of World Peace and Love)

WASHINGTON, D.C., June 28, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The Tai Ji Men Cultural Goodwill Group and the Federation of World Peace and Love (FOWPAL) have visited 101 countries to promote conscience, love, and peace. They revisited Washington, D.C. at a critical and turbulent time, and from June 28 to July 1, they will hold solemn and sacred ceremonies of ringing the Bell of World Peace and Love to pray for the world.

On June 28, Dr. Katrina Lantos Swett, president of the Lantos Foundation for Human Rights and Justice, and former U.S. Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom Sam Brownback, who are the co-chairs of the International Religious Freedom (IRF) Summit 2022, rang the Bell and made their wishes for peace. In today’s chaotic world where conflicts, human rights violations, and religious persecution happen frequently, the ringing of the peace bell in Washington, D.C., the epicenter of the world’s politics, is all the more extraordinary and meaningful.

Former U.S. Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom Sam Brownback rang the Bell and stated, “I pray for peace that surpasses understanding for everyone!” Ambassador Brownback once stated that freedom of religion is a fundamental human right, without which humanity cannot flourish, emphasizing, “We believe governments’ role is to protect that innate right of a person to select their own course of future for their soul.”

Dr. Katrina Lantos Swett, president of the Lantos Foundation for Human Rights and Justice, rang the Bell and stated, “I pray daily for peace but also for justice because without justice and freedom – especially freedom of religion and belief, there cannot be any peace.” She also expressed her gratitude to Tai Ji Men, saying, “I am grateful for the spirit of this wonderful community.”

Dr. Hong, Tao-Tze, president of FOWPAL, presented to each of the two leaders of conscience a certificate of appreciation for cultural exchange in recognition of their initiating the IRF Summits, promoting a culture of conscience, defending the freedom of religion and belief of every citizen of the world, and bringing stability to people’s hearts!

To date, 419 influential leaders from 128 nations, including 49 heads of state and government and seven Nobel Peace Prize laureates, have rung the Bell and contributed to global peace and sustainability! Three bell ringers, President Fradique de Menezes of Sao Tome and Principe (2001-2011), President Abdoulaye Wade of Senegal (2000-2012), and President Leonel Fernández of the Dominican Republic (1996-2000 and 2004-2012), for example, rang the Bell and made wishes for peace during their tenures and later mediated between neighboring countries to defuse potential wars, fulfilling their promises to help stabilize and sustain the Earth.

The Bell of World Peace and Love was recently rung at the 25th Eurasian Economic Summit in Turkey to promote global sustainability. Seven influential leaders rang the Bell, including five former heads of state.

The Bell was also rung by a total of 11 ministers of environment and environmental activists during Stockholm+50 in Sweden in early June. It was hoped that the ringers’ wishes for peace would be spread with the peaceful sound of the Bell, praying for the blessings of all living creatures, and that global citizens would safeguard the Earth and facilitate ecosystem restoration.

On July 1 at 10:00-11:30 am in Room 12-14 at the Renaissance Washington DC Downtown Hotel, Tai Ji Men and FOWPAL will host another ceremony of ringing the Bell of World Peace and Love as well as present cultural performances, where influential leaders will ring the Bell and pray for the world.

Ringing the Bell is especially significant at this tumultuous time because it aims to awaken the conscience of global citizens, to inject positive energy into the world to protect the Earth, and to foster world peace through the influence and participation of the bell ringers, who will bring more light and hope to the world with their words of conscience and reverence for Heaven and Earth. The collective peace efforts of more peace-loving individuals will make the world a better and safer place!

It has carried forward the wisdom of Daoist philosophy, one of the highest philosophies of humankind. It is an international nonprofit cultural organization. Wood Mackenzie Power & Renewables APAC Conference 2022 open for registration

SINGAPORE, June 29, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Wood Mackenzie announces the launch of the second edition of its Power & Renewables Asia Pacific (APAC) Virtual Conference on July 26 – 28.

Asia Pacific is the world’s biggest electricity consumer and carbon emitter, larger than Europe and North America combined. With strong demand growth and coal still accounting for over half of power supply, the region has yet to peak carbon emissions and is at its infancy in the long journey to net zero. The path to success is now paved with even more obstacles as fuel and power prices soar, geopolitical tensions rise, supply chains are stressed and project developers face rising costs and unprecedented revenue risks. The big question now is whether Asia Pacific can rise above these challenges and take a proactive role in the energy transition. How are companies dealing with economic pressures while recalibrating environmental and net-zero strategies?

Join Wood Mackenzie experts and special guests from BASF, Energy Networks Australia, Huawei Technologies, Orsted Japan, Sumitomo Corporation Global Metals and many more. These industry leaders will discuss global trends, such as the impact of energy price inflation and the Russia/Ukraine conflict, as well as regional topics including Japan’s strategy in balancing energy security vs. carbon neutrality, the latest supply chain outlook from Asia’s wind, solar and battery equipment manufacturers, booming corporate low-carbon power procurement demand, Australia’s leading role in green hydrogen and ammonia and how these trends impact the industry.

Key external speakers include:

  • Hemant Naidu, Regional Category Management – Electricity and Carbon Management, Asia Pacific, BASF
  • Todd Li, President of Asia Pacific, Trina Solar
  • Rupert Maloney, Head of Hydrogen, Clean Energy Finance Corporation
  • Dor Son Tan, Head of Distribution, Energy Networks Australia
  • Bob Takai, Executive Advisor, European Energy Exchange AG
  • Jessica Chen, CTO of Solar Business, Huawei Technologies

  • James Allan, Director, Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners
  • Mototsugu Ikari, Team Leader for Steel Construction, Sumitomo Corporation Global Metals
  • Mark Todoroff, Business Development Director and Future Energy Leader, World Energy Council, TESLA Asia Pacific

The virtual conference will offer opportunities to connect with leading players in the power and renewables industries. Delegates can also connect with regional utilities, grid operators, national and energy regulatory bodies, investment entities and technology providers.

FLEXIM Introduces Enhancement of Automatic Flow Disturbance Correction for Clamp-on Ultrasonic Flowmeters

Flow Disturbance Correction

Flow Disturbance Correction

BERLIN, June 28, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Adhering to straight-run requirements can be a challenge in the generally limited space of industrial process plants. Because of limited pipework, it’s not always feasible to carry out optimal installation away from valves, bends and other inline workings that could lead to excess turbulence that’s difficult to deal with.

To obtain precise measurement under normal circumstances, clamp-on flow meters demand an inlet length of at least 10D. However, thanks to FLEXIM’s brand new disturbance correction technology, accuracy is guaranteed even under less than ideal inflow conditions, reducing the necessary inlet length from 10D to a much more realistic and achievable 2D.

A flexible and cost-effective solution for both planners and users.

FLEXIM’s commitment to innovation means that installation can be carried out in even the most restricted spaces, with no downtime and no reduction in accuracy.

As of the 1st of June 2022, the enhanced Disturbance Correction feature has been implemented on all relevant meters.

What does FLEXIM do?

In virtually every country around the world, FLEXIM’s groundbreaking instruments are providing essential liquid, gas and steam measurement, control, data logging and alarm services to every single industry.

From simple to complex industrial and municipal processes, FLEXIM’s multi-function measurement and control systems provide relentlessly reliable instrumentation – even at temperatures up to 1100F.

FLEXIM designs and manufactures multiple types of non‑intrusive ultrasonic liquid/gas flowmeters. From the permanent FLUXUS (available in a wide range of models and configurations including Mass and Thermal Energy Measurement Systems), to the F601 portable, and now the FLUXUS H20 family of portable flow meters for municipal applications.

To find out more about FLEXIM’s enhanced Flow Disturbance Correction, and how it makes measuring errors a thing of the past, take a look at our latest video and visit our website:
