Voting and Election of Village Heads Held in RPN Lambak Kanan

Bandar seri begawan: Residents of Kampung Madang and Kampung Sungai Hanching, Mukim Berakas ‘B’, participated in a significant event this morning as they voted to elect their Village Heads. The voting ceremony was hosted at Dewan Kemasyarakatan Satu, RPN Lambak Kanan.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was attended by Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Daud bin Jihan, a Member of the Legislative Council, and Pengiran Muhammad Ameer Mubaarak bin Pengiran Haji Hashim, the Acting Brunei Muara District Officer. The sole candidate for the position of Village Head of Kampung Madang was Pengiran Mohd Saiful Zamri bin Pengiran Haji Sabtu, while Awang Muhammad Afiq bin Naquiyuddien was the only candidate for Village Head of Kampung Sungai Hanching. The election results will be submitted to the Board of Appointment, Discipline and Procedures for Penghulu Mukim and Village Head at the Ministry of Home Affairs for further processing.
