Mukim Bukit Sawat – The Tamu Gayoh event, organized by the Mukim Bukit Sawat and Mukim Labu Consultative Council, was officially launched on the morning of November 19th at the Kampung Sungai Mau Recreational Park, Mukim Bukit Sawat.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the Tamu Gayoh aims to promote and expand the concept of "one village one product" (1K1P) and to foster community unity while showcasing ethnic cultures.
The launch was officiated by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, the Minister of Home Affairs. The event included a cycling expedition that started and concluded at the Kampung Sungai Mau Recreational Park. Tamu Gayoh is seen as a significant event in the region, focusing on enhancing community ties and cultural understanding.
