The Royal Wedding ceremonial events which will take place provides an opportunity for the country’s citizens and residents as well as those abroad to watch the Royal Wedding Ceremony customs and traditions practised throughout the ages with its implementation suited to the era. Even though the country is in the COVID-19 New Normal Phase, the ceremonial events are not affected by the implementation of the new norms.
At Istana Nurul Iman, the smooth running of the ceremony at every step is ensured with the safety and well-being of guests and staff still being prioritised. The Ministry of Health’s Standard Operating Procedure, SOP includes making the Antigen Rapid Test, ART compulsory as advised for any event. The use of face masks either for guests or staff is a new norm that is increasingly becoming a comfortable routine.
The Ministry of Health’s SOP is also implemented at Assana’, Jerudong. Guests and staff adhere to the regulations stipulated by the Ministry of Health such as taking the ART, wearing face masks, and updating as well as ensuring their BruHealth is green or yellow code prior to entering the hall.
