Munajat Night Highlights Significance of Compassion and Self-Improvement in Fight Against Drug Abuse

Bandar seri begawan: Islam prohibits its ummah from insulting, cursing, and belittling others. Even if a person has made a mistake, society needs to encourage them to realize it and try to improve themselves. This was among the content of the 203rd Munajat Night organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in conjunction with the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2025.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the Munajat Night programme was enlivened by staff of the Narcotics Control Bureau, NCB, Prime Minister’s Office. The recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah AlFatihah was led by Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Zalani bin Haji Ismail, Director of NCB from the NCB Headquarters. Also participating were congregants from several mosques and staff of the Ministry of Religious Affairs as well as individuals from their respective homes.
