186 new students are undertaking full time programmes at the Institute of Brunei Technical Education, IBTE Jefri Bolkiah Campus for the July session. Orientation week for the students is held for 3 days starting yesterday.
The Orientation Week was officiated by Dayang Hajah Siti Hazizah binti Haji Masri, Head of the School of Energy and Engineering at IBTE Jefri Bolkiah Campus. 137 students are taking Diploma and HNTec in various engineering courses, while 49 others are undertaking HNtec in Information and communication technology. The Orientation Week aims to expose the new students to the campus’ learning culture. This year, 1,500 students nationwide have been selected to undertake studies in 50 programmes offered by IBTE in the Diploma, NTec and HNTec levels.
