In raising awareness on Breast Cancer as well as early detection of cancer and its prevention, the Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre, PJSC has launched the Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The event was officiated by Awang Haji Abdul Manap bin Othman, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health. In supporting the World Cancer Day theme – “I AM AND I WILL”, a tree has been placed at the PJSC Lobby for the public to leave messages of encouragement and support to breast cancer patients, the survivors and their families; as well as to pledge their commitment to advocate awareness on the disease. In line with the motto “We Care”, PJSC joins thousands of organisations around the world to highlight the importance of breast cancer awareness, research and education. A number of activities for the public have also been lined up by The Brunei Cancer Centre, TBCC throughout this month including weekly talks and Tai Chi sessions in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
