The official launch of the Iranian Cultural Storybook "The Hodhod and The Simorgh" took place at International School Brunei in commemoration of the Islamic Republic of Iran's government week, 29th August morning. The book's contents are taken from the poetry book "Man?iq-u?-?ayr" by Attar Neishabouri and has been rewritten in collaboration between the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Brunei Darussalam and the Brunei Reading and Literacy Association, ReLA.
Present were Doctor Shamsiah Zuraini Kanchanawati binti Haji Tajuddin, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Education and His Excellency Doctor Reza Zabib, Assistant Minister and Director General for Asia and Pacific, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who is on a two-day working visit to the country. Also present was Her Excellency Homeira Rigi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Brunei Darussalam.
