The Jerudong Park Medical Centre, JPMC Scholarship Programme symbolises JPMC's commitment towards empowering the Nation's youth and investing towards a brighter future for healthcare. The Minister of Health said through such avenue, JPMC will also facilitate funding for continuing education and certification programmes that will serve as a stepping stone in their professional development. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Md Isham bin Haji Jaafar, who is also the Chairman of JPMC, said five remarkable individuals who have been awarded the JPMC Scholarship will be enrolled in JPMC College of Health Sciences this August, where two will undergo Foundation in Science Certification and three will undergo Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The event was held at the Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre.
The launch of the JPMC Scholarship Programme represents a collective effort and a shared vision for the future of healthcare. JPMC Scholarship Programme aims to support young talents pursuing nursing studies and foster the future generation of healthcare professionals to combat the shortages of nurses faced nationwide.
