An individual was issued a $500 compound fine by the Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation, JASTRe for an offence under the Miscellaneous Offences Act 2021, for dumping rubbish in public areas in Kampung Sungai Kebun area.
Pengiran Haji Hassan Bin Pengiran Haji Hassim was given 7 days to settle the fine.
In default, the case can be brought to court and if convicted can be fined not less than $1,000 and not exceeding $3,000 for the first offence and for the second or subsequent offences can be fine of not less than $3,000 and not exceeding $9,000, imprisonment for a period not exceeding 6 months or both.
