Qalbun Salim Event Highlights Needs of Differently Abled Persons

Kampung Manggis Madang – A special event, Qalbun Salim, was held on 9th December afternoon at the Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque in conjunction with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2023. Organized by the Department of Community Development, JAPEM, the event emphasized the importance of including differently-abled persons in all aspects of life, particularly in religious practices.

According to Radio Television Brunei, The event, attended by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, underlined the significance of attention and support for differently-abled individuals. The function included a special talk and the reading of doa (prayers) dedicated to the differently-abled and for the safety of Palestinians. The event was held as an expression of gratitude and recognition for differently-abled persons who contribute to societal development.
