The Department of Haj Affairs, through the Haj and Umrah Guidance Division, held a Basic Haj Course for selected pilgrims, intended pilgrims on the waiting list and the public.
In Belait District, the courses were held at Mohammad Jamalul Alam Mosque in Kuala Belait and Zainab Mosque in Lumut. Among others, the course disseminates the knowledge of manasik of haj and enhance awareness about the obligation of Haj.
In Tutong District, the course was held at Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Tutong Town. The organising of the course is an early preparation for the pilgrims who are placed on the waiting list to perform the Haj.
While in Temburong District, it was held at Mohammad Salleh Main Mosque in Bangar Town. The course is held every Sunday for six sessions from 8 to 10 in the morning until 29th October.
