His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al- Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, in a titah reminds that the progress to be achieved is not focused on constructing buildings to show off, but a more meaningful progress is such as building infrastructure and system that bring positive impact to the citizens and residents. His Majesty in his titah, stresses as there are only 12 years left to realise the Wawasan Negara, the Government needs to conclude the manpower and social blueprints in the near future.
His Majesty emphasises the matters in the Titah in conjunction with the 39th Brunei Darussalam National Day for 2023. In the titah, His Majesty underscores that the National Day is an important moment to be remembered, as by remembering it, the country will be reminded of the sacrifices and efforts of the leaders and people who had earlier carved pathways towards independence.
