The Youth Centre Week Night, MMPB, is among the effort to revive the Youth Centre by maximising the usage of the facilities available at the centre for the youths and to help them step out of the comfort zone. MMPB is a youth volunteer’s project gathered as a collective under the guidance of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

The programme which will be held once a month, on the first week of every month, is hoped to enhance productivity at the Youth Centre by organising pro-active activities led by the youths. Dayang Hajah Noor Monasalieana @ Suzie binti Haji Mohd Salleh, President of MMPB Council in an interview with RTB explained that the programme is a platform to assist youths to step out of the comfort zone and to provide a full support to the youths to be more pro-active and competitive. The programme is targeting youths aged between 14 to 40 years old.

The Youth Centre Week Night provides various which will be held every month. The activities include entrepreneurship, arts and cultural activities, entertainment as well as other local talents from the creative industry. All the activities will take place at several facilities provided by the Youth Centre. Members of the public are urged to come and show their support to the youths.
