His Majesty Sultan Haji HassanalBolkiahMu'izzaddinWaddaulahibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali SaifuddienSa'adulKhairiWaddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a Titah reminds the bold hearted leader in the Civil Service to be more sensitive towards the people they lead. Their duties and responsibilities, adds the Monarch, are not confined to being the head of department, section or unit, but also to be prepared to teach and guide their subordinates in times of difficulty.

His Majesty delivered the Titah during the 25th Civil Service Day celebration yesterday morning. In line with the celebration's theme, 'Transformation towards a Progressive Civil Service', His Majesty hopes that efforts to move the Civil Service forward with the involvement of the private sector would continue actively. It is also His Majesty's wishes that the Civil Service will explore a more effective approach in serving the people and the country. The Monarch stresses, as the country's vital development machinery, the Civil Service should never cease finding ways towards improving and enhancing the quality of its services for the people and the nation.
