10 students from the Jerudong International School, JIS, this morning were treated to a highly informative and engaging lecture titled 'Energy Policy and Eco Policy in Japan'. The lecture was delivered by His Excellency Motohiko Kato, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Brunei Darussalam.
His Excellency Motohiko Kato in his lecture explained advances in Japan's sophisticated waste management and recycling systems. The closing ceremony included the students presenting a slide-show summarising what they had done throughout the week. The students also received the certificates for participating in a programme that focuses on Japan's culture and language. The 'Japan Experience' is among the various choices offered by JIS as part of the 'Enrichment Week Programme'.
