The Ministry of Education through the Private education Section in collaboration with the Centre for British Teachers, CfBT Education Services Sendirian berhad held a Teachers Support Workshop as preparation for the Programme for International Student Assessment, PISA which is beneficial to the literacy achievement quality for private institutions in Brunei Darussalam. The workshop was held this afternoon at the CoCurriculum Development Department, Ministry of Education.

Present was Dayang Hajah Anis Faudzulani binti Haji Dzulkiflee, Director General of Education. 60 participants comprising 15 school leaders, 30 coordinators and 15 teachers from Private Education Institutions under the Ministry of Education attended the workshop. The workshop aims to serve as a useful consolidation and extension of the teacher's prior knowledge about Higher Order Thinking Skills or 21st Century Skills as well as literacy for life beyond formal education. It was facilitated by Paul Booth, Head of Literacy, Literacy and Numeracy Coaching Programme, CfBT Education Services (B) Sdn. Bhd.
