The "Challenge Week" programme, organised by the Ministry of Education through the Schools Department with the cooperation of CfBT, provides exposure to the students with activities that are more towards critical thinking. In the programme, students have the opportunity to take part in various activities that tests their abilities.

The programme specifically for secondary school students at the age of 14 and 15, and is specially created by English, Mathematics and Science teachers to assist the students in tacking challenges and solving problems. Several principals of secondary schools welcomed such an initiative, as it gives positive impact to the student's mind-set, and prepare them for a major examination next year.

The programme will lead to higher thinking skills, better problem solving, and build the student's self-identity and self-confidence, apart from improving the student's academic achievements.
