18 students enrolled in NTec Apprenticeship in Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning and 24 students enrolled in NTec Apprenticeship in Automotive Technician programme for July 2017 intake has signed the Apprenticeship Training Agreement, ATA with participating companies in the industries, this afternoon. In conjunction to the signing ceremony, Institute of Brunei Technical Education, IBTE inked Memorandum of Understanding, MoU with AIFA Sendirian Berhad; Bee Seng Air Conditioning and Engineering Sendirian Berhad; Marsee and company and Nur Zafirah Engineering Sendirian Berhad.

Present to witness the signing was Awang Muhammad Saufi bin Awang Haji Ibrahim, the Acting Commissioner of Labour, Ministry of Home Affairs. Through this scheme, IBTE believes it will foster the establishment of a long-lasting partnership with industry in providing training to the youth to fulfill the market demand in the industry. Unlike other forms of training, the Dual-System Apprenticeship, DSA allows the trainees to earn and learn at the same time.
