Working Papers Discussed at Mini Library Carnival

Bandar seri begawan: Several working papers were tabled on the second day of the Mini Library Carnival: Symposium and Exhibition at the Brunei History Centre, 10th September morning.

According to Radio Television Brunei, among the topics tabled was ‘Kontroversi dalam Pensejarahan Brunei: Antara Tradisi, Kolonialisme dan Penulisan Semula.’ This paper highlighted figures who played important roles in challenging narratives that affected the Islamic and Malay identity in Brunei history. Another significant topic was ‘Peranan Perpustakaan Pusat Da’wah Islamiah dalam Pemeliharaan Bahan Sejarah dan Pembudayaan Ilmu’, which delved into best practices in library management and measures for preserving collections, including historical materials.
