Wings of Inclusion Empowers Hearing Impaired and CODA Participants


Bandar seri begawan: 48 individuals, including hearing impaired children and Children of Deaf Adults (CODA), alongside 26 youth volunteers, participated in the ‘Wings of Inclusion’ social contribution activity. Organised by the Delegation from the Ship for Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Programme (SSEAYP) 2025/2026 Session, in collaboration with SSEAYP International Brunei, BERSATU, and supported by the Youth and Sports Department, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, the event took place at the Youth Centre in the capital.



According to Radio Television Brunei, the programme aims to empower the hearing impaired and instil inclusivity while providing social support to CODA and hearing impaired children. Participants engaged in traditional game-based activities designed to foster teamwork and communication, under the guidance of facilitators. Each participant was also given a Back to School voucher.
