BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN — The Brunei Muara District Scout Association, in collaboration with the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Federation's Religious Hall Takmir Committee, successfully organized a clothing donation program at the Federation's Religious Hall in Kampung Beribi on February 25th. This initiative aimed to gather and distribute pre-loved clothing to those in need, demonstrating a community-driven approach to support and solidarity.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event saw the collection of over three hundred items of clothing, contributed by both members of the Association and the general public. The donations encompassed a wide range of apparel, ensuring that recipients would benefit from a variety of choices. This programme highlights the Scouts' commitment to community service and the principles of charity and brotherhood, as they work together to make a tangible difference in the lives of the less fortunate within their community.
